When Hurricane (insert calm-sounding name here), a category four or five, slams into Miami, we fucking WORK! Put up shutters. Hoard food/medicine/water. Sandbag your doors. And you have to give up your porn for The Weather Channel's updates.

Hold on for dear life to your loved ones as the winds howl, rain comes down like Armageddon, thunder strikes feet from your house, and all through this flying branches and tiles make it suicide to venture outside of your house.

Once it's all over, you watch out for puddles as you step outside. Fallen electrical wires have this thing for puddles, they'll shock anyone that gets inside. It looks like a bomb went off. Big branches and leaves litter the ground, plucked clean from Hurricane (insert calm-sounding name here). Some may have even struck your house. Any improperly shuttered windows, or those without hurricane shutters, are broken. Standing water everywhere. Some houses may even be collapsed, if it's really bad. Street signs are gone, making the whole neighborhood a limbo.

You do NOT move up a few miles to this girl you know's house and enjoy fine cuisine.
