When will the final Final Fantasy come out? It's beginning to piss me off...

I was at a game store at Dolphin Mall in Miami. Sure enough, they have a PS2 on exhibit with FF10 loaded.

I'm walking along the road, no problem.

Out of nowhere, a monster appears.

BATTLE MODE! So now I have to WAIT for him to attack me, then he does absolutely nothing as I attack him.

There is no skill involved, I just push buttons, spawn a clone of him with someone else in my troupe, pwn him, and move on.

I was gonna buy it... but I sorta got my mom payin for two MMOs already and my friends play that game, looks like a really good game tho which leads to the ever present question. How is the lag, server stability, all that stuff that we dont like in PS.

LOL thats exactly what happens! after you pwned him did he begin to turn red and disapear?

If I don't have to aim, there is no skill involved. Random miss/hit equations do not count.

IE:

Aiming, burst shooting as not to invite recoil: skill
Push X and watch him die: no skill

I've been playing FFXI also. It's pretty fun. There really isn't a whole lot of skill involved but it's enjoyable so far and there is a LOT to do.

Why Ban? I still play PS. I have a TR char on Emerald and a VS char on Konried. I play FFXI when I get frustrated with PS. Unfortunately, thats pretty often lately with the random crashing to desktop and low FPS even though I have a pretty powerful system and all the settings turned way down.

Just an FYI, the leveling curve is absolutely terrible in FFXI... If you have ever played DAoC, imagine the leveling curve from 45-50, just in FFXI it starts around 13!

Also the world passes is the primary reason I don't want to play it... It is so lame that you can not join the same server as your friends, but you have to play for weeks just to get the money to make a character on another server. Which by then all your friends are level 25, and you are 1.

Second I don't like the idea of not having new servers for the US launch, you have to join the Asia servers which have people that have been playing for over a year already.
