Its going around most forums that Best Buy 9600SE's actually have 9600 Pro's in them. They are going for around $129 and have the HL2 coupon. The stickers on the boards will say 9600Pro and if you look up the part number on ATI's website it shows as 9600Pro. Also the core and memory speeds using Riva Tuner show as very high, and OC well. So if your in the market for something fast and cheap you may want to try this. If you don't get it, BB has a decent return policy.
Look for SN 180339xxxxx |

Could be a batch of cards that came out of ATI that didn't pass 9600pro specs, but did pass the 9600SE specs. ATI had the same thing happen to them when the 9700 pro's came out that didn't pass specs, they became 9500's. Damage to the 4 pipelines caused the 9700's to become 9500's. I'm not going to spend $$ on a board THINKING it MIGHT be a 9600pro. Just gimme the retail box please.
