Your choice of warfare.

Given the large numbers of weapons and vehicles in PS, several different types of warfare are available to squad/platoon/outfit commanders.

Which general type of warfare would you prefer to engage in, given the returns are the same mechanics-wise and materiel is free?

Maneuver warfare, attrition warfare garantees that you will lose alot of people and guerrilla warfare takes to long.

Well i plan to be a sniper, fly around in a skeeter, pick up targets at long range, fly off, land, move close to targets, kill a few, or if only 1-2 people, both of em, and then fly off. I thought that would be guerrilla warfare.

I pick maneuvere warfare, of course. Any idiot can run in a straight line and attack head-on.

I'm guessing my preferred tactic of getting in an infiltration suit, packing a MAGScatter, knife, and several grenades, gathering up my buds, sneaking into a base, and causing all sorts of havoc before a massive assault (or just to wig them out ) counts as guerrila warfare, so...

I choose the second one because I'm going to be a tank driver. There's nothing like flanking a few enemy tanks or soldiers in Battlefield 1942 so I'm hoping the feeling is going to be the same in PS. Personally I am also kind of looking forward to running over a few of the sniper/infiltrator/awpwannabes/etc/etc/etc. (flame away with that comment) throughout the game. In fact I'm sincerely hoping I'll accidentally run over at least one cloaked enemy within the first few days. I can just see it now:

*You have unknowingly run over a Vanu sniper. You are awarded ??? BEPs for accomplishing this for the first time.*

By the way maneuver/manouvre warfare (however you want to spell it)... does not require you to lose a lot of people. If its done right then the results are going to be your team getting lots of kills while the other team is completely obliterated.

ahh..I misunderstood your post. Thought you were combining the two. Didn't realize you were confirming what your choice was.

I think Maneuver(that's how I spell...Hmph) warfare is going to be the most common. Warborn was 100% right in what he said and Guerilla warfare is pretty hard considering there are often huge fields and also large bases defended well.
