The combos are definately impressive, beating Super Mario 3 in 11 minutes not so much. Super Mario in 11:02 would be impressive. Super Mario 3 in 11:02 is simplicity when you use the flutes

i have a feeling this was run by a computer. simply too precise for a human. look at how he sends those last minute fireballs in midair to take out that ONE guy about to fly off the screen just to keep the 1up combo going. then again, these are japanese we're talking about here...

We are talking about the regular Super Mario, right? Mario 1? 11 minutes and 2 seconds is pretty good. I think my record is 18 minutes. I had gotten really good at it. Knew all the warp zone, which leveled to bypass, and where you could gain maximum 1up's. But that was years and years ago, back when I was a child, and nintendo and tv where my only means of entertainment. And my stepfather hated both. Probably still does.
