Have I told you about the Great Disaster we had at Disney World, Orlando?
It was around 1990. I was maybe 2-4, my brother younger by a year. We were living in Detroit. Detroit is in Michigan. The state that is shaped like a hand, fisting Canada. We drove (drove!) ALL the way down from Detroit to Orlando, Florida. Florida is "the wang of the USA". We effectively crossed the USA, vertically. When we arrived, my parents (I was too young to comprehend) were aghast: International Gay Day at Disney World. Couples were openly making out, kissing, and getting married. All couples recieved a free "gift bag". Not to be offensive to any homoseuxals, but for God's sake, can you NOT do that in public? Straight people got zilch. We left immediately. A drive across the country, wasted.
