somthing i stumbled on when updated my vid card drivers

i bought the radeon 9800 pro in april 2003. i updated the drivers in august. directly after i updated the drivers i played some planetside. when i got to an enemy base i could see through the walls but only at a distance. when i noticed that i was like what the hell WTF happened. it was like i had a cheat even though i dont cheat PS because of the GMs(game masters) that are in the game. can any body tell me is this a driver glitch or a ps glitch with the vid card drivers.

The same thing happened to me using a GeForce2 MX 400. When enough players were in one area, I could see through walls (still could not shoot through them though).

I got a Radeon 9600 XT for x-mas and have not had it happen since.

That would be the 3.8 driver causing out to see through buildings. I dealt with it for a month. Dowload the 3.10 driver and you won't have this issue anymore.

Try rolling back your drivers and it'll probably work fine

just get the 3.10's, also this is a tech forum topic, no need to clutter up the Game discussion with this stuff when there's a forum for it

may be i wont fix this problem. i can see through walls in the game with out hacking or using cheats. and the GMs cant tell if im looking through walls either because its not a cheat its a driver issue.
