Don't get me wrong, I love macs (I know, I know. Ban me.) but I can't help but notice the crappy ads they keep cranking out. You probably all remember the Volkswagen / iPod add with the annoying hippie music. Check out their latest atrocity.

hehe. I heard that Apple been banned from showing that commercial of "Apple G5" is "the world's fastest, most powerful personal computer" by the British Independent Television Commission because they said it was misleading consumers.

Apple sucks, I wish the government had let them get squashed and then subsidised some Linux developers. Apple almost died because they just had an inferior product that cost more money, ran slower, and ran about 10% of the software that is available for PC. Apple was not the little guy when MS started crushing them. MS had a better product and did not constrain the choices of cosumers by forcing proprietary hardware on people. Apple should stop making OSes and computers and just stick to peripherals. About Linux. It's only competing with MS for business servers and such, and it's kicking MS's ass hardcore too (especially in the world of webservers), mostly because Linux costs a hell of a lot less, since all you're really paying for is technical support. It's also beating out MS for desktop use in many government agencies in other countries (not the US). Linux also has a larger desktop market share than Apple in the US now too. All the more reason for Apple to just give up. The world would be a better place if companies would stop making apps for Apple and start making apps for Linux.

real competition Linux MS public browser competition is netscape real is mozilla the free-sorce REAL netscape what else do they make? o well random stuff comp... messenger microsoft is AIM and MSN competition is ICQ and Yahoo and oder stuff likely emmmmmm lol now seriously what does ms make? microsoft paint?  excuse me it's late i'm tired(23:48) and i don't have class till 11 whooo and mu english looky funny now  MS Earth competition Mercury Real Competition Mars :noclue:  btw did you know there is a car that ran on windows completely i mean it had control of locks and all.... ya you guess it ... locked everyone in the car in less then a week

Die. This ad sucks in all possible ways. Designwise, this is a train wreck. It has the aesthetics and fluidity of the local sewage dump.
