Hi again, this is me... lol.
I have a Labtec combo headphone mic... the mic doesn't work. I have never tried it before, so I didn't notice. The sound is fine. It's the pink plug in that goes in next to the blue/green sound plugs, it's ancient. It's not being recognized at all, i get nothing from it. Does anyone know about this problem? Also, if I have to toss it, is there a way to get wireless headphones WITH mic? I'd like to make sure my brother isn't ruining all my shiz... Thanks, TTYL~ |

Try this.
Start -> Run -> type sndvol32 and hit enter -> make sure the mic isn't muted. If it does not show a slider for the mic go to Options -> Properties -> scroll down the list of check boxes and put a check in the one that says microphone.

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that I tried the microphone with my laptop, and it worked fine, so I am considering the soundcard being at fault. I'm taking my computer into the retailer today, so I'll get everything worked out.
Yes, I've tried every volume/setup/driver reinstallation/unmute I could find on the computer, to no avail. I'm quite disappointed >.< |
