Everquest 2 and World of Warcraft: I'm scared

MAN, everquest was addictive... It took me about a year to get off it ... but anyway, I think those two MMORPGS will be as addictive as everquest... which means that I wont have as much time to play planetside...

EQ2 looks (as in purely graphics) way better. However, I don't doubt it'll be the same old same old and bring nothing new to MMORPGs. However I think the same of WoW. At least with UX:O they're not doing the click, stand, wait for person to die combat. You actually click to defend and attack, so it's not just lame semi turn based. Which is nice.

I doubt I'll be getting either, since I'm playing FFXI now, but both look very good.

A note about turn based stand and wait: I think it would be cool if you had at least two attacks that you pushed different buttons to do. Also ranged attack would be cool ifyou actually could aim. Then again this would be very tough to implement, but it would be cool no doubt.

are you seeing some sort of secret screenshots of the player models i'm not seeing?

i won't play everquest 2 purely on the basis that EVERY ONE of the player models has plastic skin and faces that would scar a warthog

Now that I have a g/f. I've decided it would be best I didn't start playing these mmorpgs. Plus im actually keeping up with school now, and I can't afford to get sucked into these games and watch my grades and social skills go down the shitter.
