If Josef Stalin was still alive today he would be 125 years old.
Sure Josef Stalin was a dictator but he was a good dictator, thanks to Stalin the country got strong and powerfull, So basicly the russian have Josef Stalin to thx for the hard work he did for the country. He held of the nazis under ww2 (Sweden is the only country that have ever invaded russia effective). So what about all those thingys about he being a crule and evil man? Well to build a strong nation you can't have lazy people that just want to exploit and destroy their own country. As young Josef Stalin did great things for his country and when he became the leader of the country he did even more great things. After the capitalists crushed Sovjet everything went bad for the country, look at it now... poverty and illness all the work Josef Stalin did for the country have gone to waste.

??? Um... he also killed of thousands... if not millions of his own citizens while making the government richer and the farmers and factory workers (hey what happened to communism) poorer... HE FAIL MARX, ENGLES, and LENIN... maybe it should also be known that he never once met Lenin and was only made chairman because he silenced all competition by killing trotsky(sp?), who was the best choice for chairman...

He killed more people than Hitler. They don't talk about it, though, because he was on our side.

As stated before, he killed (not personally, of course) thousands of people and many political opponents.
And are you suggesting the USSR wasn't in poverty and illness when it was Communist?

I remember hearing that Stalin wanted to kill John Wayne... that's getting off topic though...

Industrial is all fine and dandy, but I don't know anyone who'd want to live in Communist Russia.

Fuck that. You have Stalin to blame for making your country a paranoid schizophrenic nation that put the entire world on edge for fifty years (along with the US too). He also had a hand in mass murder, causing a huge chunk of the world who were his own "people" to live in fear for their entire lives, and also helped plunge Russia and the USSR and its satellites into relative poverty. Russia isn't strong, it had the perception of power, not actual strength. He didn't help Russia- he actually HELPED destroy it, and HELPED exploit it. You fools that glorify that fuckstick have no one but Stalin AND YOURSELVES to blame for your predicament. Capitalism did nothing but say "Yeah we're greedy, but we ain't closet greedy."

Yeah, way to go. Let's glorify Hitler too while we're at it. He made France what it is today.

we em, can't they're dead

btw: This thread was very difficult to read, you guys never proof read and that causes it to be odd none flowing sentences. When you wright it like that, it sounds like a 10 year old typing. Grammar? They don't know much about it, do you?

--edit oh yes and i agree the ends do not justify the means, if bush kills 100 billion people so that he can stay in office is that worth the means? to him it might, but for most it wouldn't. To say the ends justify the means, takes a point of view on it which you can't really when that many deaths are envolved.
