Well goto www.shoutcast.com and read the documentation there. That will give you the basic idea.
I personally use software that cost about 300 bucks, as it allows me to program when commercials (if any) get played and such, or you can use the free DSP plugin for Winamp (version 2 only) and stream to a shoutcast server. There is also Live365.com . Check them out also. For 5 bucks a month, they will cover your RIAA and CARP fees. Yes. You have to pay the record labels to stream their music over the internet, even if you legally own every song you have in your library. But good luck! |
