Chat Preferances

Anyone have a problem with me filtering out Local and Broadcast chat messages? I've found that 99.9% of those chat messages are nothing but useless spam anyway.

I don't need to hear about 2 preteens talking about what they imagine sex to be. I don't need to hear about some Noob's amazing Flail shot or Liberator bombing run. Or how some goober knifed an AFK enemy and now thinks he is a Samurai "Master of the Blade". And I surely don�t need to see the text from all the voice spammers yelling �Help!� and �Wow�.

I think Squad, Toon, Outfit, and the Command chats are all I need to see. I guess I�m just tired of scrolling through spam to see what my squad or outfit have to say or see where the CR5�s are sending the next Zerg.

Well, I solo, and I hardly squad up, so I have all my chat filters off. But what works for you works for you.

EDIT: One more thing, I remember the only time I've ever broadcast was for a ride, since I couldn't drop Combat Engineering for ATV until the next day.

I ussaully leave them on, they can be useful occasionally and i just ignore the worst offenders.

I never seem to have problems unless I am in the Sanctuary. I just ignore all chat except tells/outfit/squad if in the Sanc

I leave it all on, and i never ignore people, you never know when you will miss "There is an enemy infil behind you btw" or "Vehicle Pad is getting OSED!" I can filter through the important things myself really...

Yea, when people talk about ignoring people, the people they're referring to generally wouldn't be the type to warn you about the infil behind you; they'll be spamming about their unrelated website on Global, or generally being a penis.

My Command chat is and always off, there're too many CR5 out there that talks rubbish and it never had any useful information.
