I read that that board was good for overclocking but the performance after overclocking made really no difference. It wasn't that much of a step up from what it's default settings put out. It's basically a standard radeon 9700 pro with a little flashier look and a decent software bundle and hardware monitoring capabilities. Nothing extremely exciting unless you're into that I guess... (article was in the Maximum PC magazine) They said they had trouble overclocking it to 400mhz. They got to 357 and started noticing problems.

ati is going to blow nvidia out of the water. nvidia half-assed it and made fx just a tiiiny bit better then 9700. and yet soon ati will pump out the next in its R line (9700 pro was r300) - the r350 !! overall though im neutral with vid cards. im sure nvidia's finalized drivers will make it veeery nice but until then they need to step up to the plate.
