HL2 delayed? Owned.

VG Pro has a small article that contains a quote supposedly from Gabe Newell. The quote suggests that HL2 could be pushed past a 2005 release date if Valve felt it was necessary. Heres the quote:

We've already spent millions into this project, and we're willing to spend as much as we need to make this the best first person experience ever. If that means delaying the game to 2005, we'll do it without any hesitation. If it means sinking another $20 million into the project, we can do it. Rest assured, if we delay the game, it'll be only to blow your socks off even more when it finally releases.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

In that case, as well as Half Life, CS, DoD, TFC, and all the fine mods, they BETTER include CS:CZ with my HL2 Key that I can use on steam at the moment to get those other games.

Yeah, Sierra is going to be mobbed by angry gamers if it delays again, which I don't think is preventable.

By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.
