Hitman: Contracts..... wtf?

I just picked up a copy from the local Gamestop. I was playing along, and having a good time. That is, until I got to the second level. Now I haven't killed anyone yet or left any incriminating evidence behind. I am walking around completly desguised and the threat level slowly rises. Before I know it the guards start shooting at me on sight. Wtf?

Maybe they are getting suspecious about you walking around so much when you shouldn't be?

Don't know. I bought it, and found that the second level was like the easiest...lol. All you do it shoot the guy on the plane in the skull, jack his outfit, carry a grocery crate to the kitchen, do that stuff with the cook, shoot the gaurds first, kill the officer guy next, do the whole bomb thing, shoot that dumbass hanging over the ledge on the boat, run like hell to the plane.

What disguise were you in? If it was the unarmed helper guy, you need to carry the crate, or if you get to close to a gaurd they'll shoot you. I hid behind the building and shot the one gaurd as he came around back, stole his outfit and ak-74, then went in.

Are you sure you are talking about contracts? That doesn't sound like the 2nd level at all. It is a party in some weirdo's meat palace

Oh, you're including the hospital part? I disregarded that as a level because you didn't even need to shoot anyone. I thought about it as an intro. Anyhow, yeah the meat one was messed up. I had a hard time with it. I had the same problem. I would walk in with no guns, in the butcher uniform, and a message would pop up saying "gaurds are looking for a suspicious bald person", before I even killed anyone. I figured out why. The guy in the beginning in the truck isn't dead, he wakes up like in 5 minutes and walks into the party and alerts the gaurds. Shoot him in the head with your pistol before you leave the truck.

The level I was talking about is the next one.

Ohh, so that is why I saw the guy running around in his undies when I was getting shot at last time. It was the guy I stole the clothes from. The game should explain that better, that is really annoying.

simple, make sure the people you leave behind are dead.

Yeah, but he looked dead. It's hard to tell if someone is dead or unconscious. You have to stand there for like 5 minutes and wait to see if they flinch lol. Not to mention that part was done by an in-game cinematic. It shows him talking to him, then he says something like "goodnight" and it cuts out. It doesn't show you if he killed him or just knocked him on the head.

And there is blood al around his body. Enough blood that even if you he was only wounded, he should of been dead soon from blood loss.

the guards know where all the guards should be at all times so they are suspicous if your walking around in the wrong area.
