Road trip!

Now that I have survived the trip here to Maine, I feel entitled to rant like a crazy person.

Anyways, I wish to thank our family friends which we are living with right now for installing a wireless connection to the internet, and for letting me build a spudgun. Back to ranting!

Day 1: The number of cars and trucks that pass over the Ambassador Bridge each day must surely use exponents in the numbers.

Canada is a fun place to drive through, once you get out of the smog of Detroit and Windsor. I still don't like how everything there is also in French, except for the KFC, which in French is PFK. The money there has pretty colours (note the u) as well.

When we finally got to Toronto for the night, we were glad we had a ground level room at the Holiday Inn, since there were no elevators and my mom has back problems. The H.I. promised an internet connection, but when we were there, they had screwed up the connection somehow. Ballocks.

The television show "My Dad is a Rock Star" is twisted. As well as Rocket Robin Hood.

Day 2: My captors continue to torment me. The previous day my mother, who has an Armenian heritage, became excited when she saw the Armenian church across the road from the hotel. We all went there today. Appearently, at that church, English is a second langauge.

I hate Quebec. Damn their Frenchness.
The entrance to Montreal was forboding. It looked waaaaay to similar to Detroit for my liking. When we did get to our hotel, we had a somewhat shakey IC up on the 7th floor. Whoever suggested in the IRC that I run around downtown yelling some insult in French, I'm sorry. I didn't have the chance. Watching King of the Hill and the Simpsons was relieving though.

Day 3:We were supposed to get to Maine that day, but my parents decided to give our hosts a break and wait to leave for another day. In the meanwhile, we would go to the old tourist part of Montreal. The souvenier shops were overwhelming. When we got back, we called our hosts to tell them we were delaying our plans for a day. They told us to come.

As we were leaving Montreal, we passed through the block-large Montreal Chinatown. I took a picture of a resturaunt called "CHEZ BONG". It will be posted here in a day or so.
The mountains were pretty.

When we got to the border, check over us was surprisingly short. Hurrah.

EVERYONE MUST GO TO BESSIE'S DINER IN NORTH EAST VERMONT.

Then we got to the cabin in Maine.

yea, if you go to saskatchewan and quebec city(i despise that city, its fake i tells ya!)
try British columbia! or The canadian sheild or Nova Scotia, i think those are nice areas of Canada
