This is just an idea I had. Rules are really simple. I will ask at least one question a day, and then the first person who answers it gets a point. That goes on until either this topic gets purged or I become extremely bored of the topic (which is unlikely). Of course, if this isn't a popular idea, it will get purged rather quickly, so it doesn't matter.
So here we go. Question 3: Why and when was Able changed to Alpha? Leaderboard: 1st: UncleDynamite: 1 point 1st: mechaman: 1 point Just post replies here, I'm not about to get my PM box flooded. Last edited by ChewyLSB; 2004-06-29 at 08:47 AM. |

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

Previous Question Answers: (Answered correctly by UncleDynamite) The Russians, during World War II, quickly saw the demand for a submachine gun. Two major events led to the Russian use of submachine guns. The Winter War with the Finns in 1939 - 1940, in which the Finn's used SMG's to great effect, and the German Invasion in 1941 in which the Russian's lost due to a large volume of fire. Thus, the PPSh - 41 was born. This question has multiple sections, and you must get all parts correct to get the point. A: Who invented the PPSh - 41? Georgy Shpagin B: What was it's magazine capacity? 71 Round drum C: What did PPSh stand for (In Russian)? Pistolet-Pulemyot Shpagina D: What did this phrase translate to, in English? Submachine Gun of Shpagin (This is what I was looking for, but you were close enough) Check the first post for the new question |
