Take it from someone who's played all the big name MMOs on the market: Don't get SWG. Get EVE Online. Played it in beta, hated it. Now it owns.

IMO, the main problems with SWG: jedis are too common, the devs don't listen and there are quite a few bugs, but it can still be enjoyable and give players the ability to roleplay and powergame evenly or do one more than the other.

No content? what do you base that on? At the start, that was true, but things have changed greatly, with player cities, quests, the introduction of the story and such
