I despise the PSR. Not all of them. Just certain broadcasters.
Last night I was kicked and banned from their channel. Why? Because I posted a link to a shoutcast stream. It was my shoutcast stream. The maximum number of people it can hold is very small due to my bandwidth. I do not see how this server could be seen as a threat. Hell, I had even been asked if I wanted to be a DJ for them the night before. I thought it would�ve been a good idea to post it in there so they can get a feel how I DJ. It�s also weird how I was able to post the link in there 7+ times without being warned. I wasn�t warned. I was just kicked and banned. I�m a reasonable person. That wasn�t reasonable. I�m annoyed.
I announce my hatred of the PSR on #ps-universe. I shortly get a PM later from Hopesdespair saying �You�re not a very nice person, are you?� but with typos. Now, I can tell you now that I�m a very nice person. I�m friendly; I always try to be friendly. But when people act like complete idiots, I find it hard to stay friendly. Like I said, I�m a reasonable person. What PSR did wasn�t reasonable.
The night before this incident, I was kicked from the PSR channel for having my name as �Hezzy|ON-AIR�. They told me to change my name. They didn�t ask me. They acted like they had some sort of jurisdiction over my name. I find this highly ironic. They kick and ban me from a channel for advertising, when they are on PSU IRC and wouldn�t hesitate to broadcast during an AGN stream. Isn�t that advertising in its own way? Needless to say, I was reasonable and changed my name back to Hezzy. Just for PSR. Because I�m a reasonable person.
I want a public apology from PSR.
