I'm going to Lake Tahoe for vacation next week....problem is....wife and I can't decide where to next year?
Its a toss between a week in Maui (Hawaii) and 2 weeks in Orlando Florida. We own timeshare and these are our options: Maui: 1 week, ocean view at Embassy Vacation Resort - Kaanapali or Orlando: 2 weeks, one week at the Marriot Grande Vista and one week at either Embassy Vacation Resort - Grand Beach or Cypress Pointe Resort Edit: We live in California Last edited by Red October; 2004-08-18 at 06:54 PM. |

I'd go Maui
My family is having a similar problem, we realized that all of our vacations for the past 3 years have all been skiing vacations and I go at least 25+ times a year on my own... and the best Mountains in New England are 1-2 hours away from our house. We want something warm but we're so clueless! |

Looks like Maui will be our destination, reasons:
1) My wife is leaning that way 2) Left side of brain kicked in (Orlando is 2 weeks of rental car fees and theme park tickets, etc. whereas Maui is one week rental car and no theme park tickets) 3) We decided if we go Orlando...we want to do it the right way...have a crap load of cash. |
