I broke up with my girlfriend at around the beginning of summer. Havnt seen her since, aside from fluke crossings at large areas/biking.

Recently went to a party with a group of friend she introduced me to, and is still a part of. Only, this time, she came with German Foreign Exchange student in tow. Cute, and speaks English well, despite having a heavy accent, which is to be expected.

Now, normally, I'd attempt to pursue a relationship with her, and she seems interested in me, but therein lies the problem: She lives with my ex. Considering I have made great pains to get back on "neutral" terms with her, Im at a loss as to how to proceed.

1: Go for it, possibly alienate Ex, who, with her close proximity, becomes a superbitch and tries to get her disinterested in me
2: Dont do anything, and shrug it off.

Opinions plz.

Is there any other reason to keep the relationship with your ex "neutral" as you put it? If yes then weigh that with the german chick, if no then go for it!

Theres a lot of complications with the matter. Such as Me only seeing the girl at social events, my ex hogging all lines of communication into her house, etc. Basically, I only know the girls face, and the fact that I amuse her.

Tell your ex you like the german girl, but try to be on good terms with her. See if she is alright with it, and could help you out. If she is against it. Do whatever you can to get in touch, because god damn, you will never have another chance to get another girl who probably makes excellent wurst.

I agree with the first part of this, if you are really interested in keeping on good terms with your ex, then you should tell her you're interested in the german girl, and ask her if she would be fine with you dating her. If so, you're in the clear, if not, then you should probably steer clear.
