That would suck if countries like North Korea start making nuclear weapons

Secretary of State Colin Powell says the United States believes a recent explosion in North Korea was, in his words, not a nuclear event. South Korean reports say a large mushroom-shaped cloud was caused by the explosion. VOA's Stephanie Ho reports from Washington.
Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Secretary Powell played down the severity of the North Korean explosion. "We have seen reports of this explosion, but based on all the information that we have, it was not any type of nuclear event," he said. "We are trying to find out more about it, and what exactly it was, if anything, but it does not appear to be a nuclear event." He said the United States is monitoring newspaper reports that there is activity going on at a potential North Korean nuclear test site. "We have been watching it," he added. "We can not tell if it is normal maintenance activity, or something more." Secretary Powell said North Korea is involved in de-nuclearization talks with five other countries, including the United States, China, South Korea, Japan, and Russia. He added that these other countries would also view a North Korean nuclear test with great alarm. Email this article to a friend. |

what the fuck makes an explosion as big as an A-Bomb or H-Bomb? the answer is nothing except Anit-Matter(fun stuff total conversion of mas to energy, e=MC^2 a pea sized bit can blow a city away, with no yucky things like radio activity) or perhaps several megatons of TNT.

two things, antimatter? jesus dude, antimatter is so expensive and requires so much energy america cant even produce alot of it, and the nearest place to harvest it, is about 3000 light years away, NKorea doesnt have a single atom of it, guaranteed.
second thing, anyone remember MOAB? that thing made a explosion the size of a small tactical nuclear bomb, N.Korea could have made their own version, or this is simply another huge ass fucking explosion that happened on accident again. |

Maybe it's a test of some cruder version, or a dummy shot with no nuclear stuff in it, or something.
It is not a nuke, according to many people. Even the BBC thinks so! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/3648794.stm |

Kwayzie.
By the way, not the size of an H-bomb. An A-bomb can destroy a city, an H-Bomb has a blast radius of about a state. That's why they tested one on an island, the blast just went through the water and didn't kill anybody. Still, that's a big fucking explosion in NK. I wonder what it was.
