it wouldnt work to be able to destroy the whole building but what if u could destroy it to framework with patches of the walls left like how the redfaction games work.... it could just rebuild itself (it is alien tech).
this could also be an excilent way to get around well guarded entrance ways. maybe even make a weapon strickly for the purpose of blowing holes in walls. k, now im gettin into wishful thinking. so recap, no, no blown up buildings |

I bet he's talking about things like the gens and weapons terminals - stuff you actively use. They'll probably be about 4 or 5 differents states ranging from perfect to damaged to busted. Then the engineers can fix it back up.
