Metallica + Godsmack in concert... getting stoned from assholes.

Yea... well here we are standing in line for the concert in Albany. So far so good. We get in and find out seats. Godsmack starts to play. During a quick break between two songs two people come up and ask if we want to trade seats. Their seats are WAAAY better. Im like, FUCK YES! So we go down there and indeed the seats rock. We are maybe 50 feet from the stage. Godsmack absolutly rocked. It was great.

There is now a 30 minute intermision. We go up to the snack area and I give Ash 20 $ and tell her I want a sierra mist and a big pretzle. It takes me 15 minutes to get a urinal to use. I use it and go find ash. I find her about 5 feet from where I left her. Asshats keep cutting in line. Enough of that shit. Next person who trys to cut us, I am like "Hey asshole... the line is about 20 feet that way" Throwing my thumb over my shoulder... he kinda looks at me and goes back to waiting. "HEY DIPSHIT I AM TALKIN TO YOU!" He turns around and says "You got a problem with me?" "Yea I do! You cut infront of her and shes been waiting for 20 minutes!" Out of no where someguy comes up and says" Its 8:50 No more beer!" Everyone freaks out and leaves the line. Now there are like 3 ppl infront of us. So I am standing there thinkin to my self (I will get 3 bottles of soda so I dont have to wait again.) We get to the front and find out that we cant have bottles we need cups. WTF!!!! So I order 3 and chug one walk with the other two.

So Metallica is begining to play now so we get back to our seats. Metallica plays awsome but all they play is the new stuff. We only got two classics .... Unforgiven and Outlaw. Great none the less. All a sudden ash sits down and rests her head on my arm. I ask her what is wrong and she says she is tired.

The concert ends and we leave. Ash is talking wierd and being really really calm (not normal of her). She tells me in the car that two guys infront of her had been smoking weed the whole time. And they kept blowing it in her face without knowing. At this point I fall over laughing because I now know whats wrong. She is stoned. First time in her life. The rest of the night was spent relaxing and sleeping.

Nice! Weird that you had to wait in line. Here in the Arrowhead Pond, all of the tickets are sold except the ones BEHIND the fucking stage.. And the concert isn't until the 27th of November.

No no no... we were waiting in line to get in. Had the tickets already.
Also there are no behind the stage tickets. The stage rotates very slowly as the band plays so everyone gets from row seats.

Went to that concert back in may when they came to charlotte. they played a helluva lot of old stuff. only like 2 or 3 new songs (metallica that is) God Smack was good but they didnt play very long. We're gonna try and go again later this year when they head to atlanta...

Nice man. This concert came here in Cleveland at the end of september. I really wanted to go mostly just for Godsmack tho, Im not a Metallica fan, there old stuff was fine but I really hate there new stuff.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. I saw them here in Chicago and it was fantastic and they did A LOT of their old stuff. Hell they played Seek and Destroy. Doesn't get much older than that.
