[Half-Life 2] Phys Gun mod

No, not the Gravity/Super Gravity gun, this is the Phys gun from the betas.

Linkage

Now, I haven't tried this yet...but I got it installed fairly easily. One note of caution, I've heard for some games (not all) blowing up two wielded barrels will freeze the game, and welding the Combine APC will cause slow down...

Apologies if this has been posted already

It gives it the ability to weld things together. ie. to put a saw blade on front of your buggey and then go ant-lion harvesting. the possibilities are endless. Maybe.

Yep, only a few things you can't weld together, and a few things crash the game...but other than that, it works very well. AI actually adapts to it as well, built a barracde of tables and they tossed a grenade behind it

Bah, I have to manually type in a map and it crashes a lot.

And wielding is hard.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

Copy/Paste your saves from the half-life2 folder to the jbmod folder.

And welding takes awhile to get used to, make sure you're using phys_gunautoweld 1
