Did you like the Tribes series?

Well, aye or naye to tribes?

By far one of my favorite games ever.... I called off work, ditched my gf, "slept in from school", and did many other things just to be able to play the game. I enjoyed the team orientation the game took on when playing with organized players, or the ez kills when playing with newbs who didnt know how to use the jet pack (like my dad lol). I especiallly enjoyed the addition of the new vehicle physics in the second tribes and the addition of AI bots for those time when you just could not get online. Another Great feature i enjoyed was the Tribes code language and how easy it was to create MODS (some times too easy lol as ther were a few that never should have been created) I still play tribes and tribes 2 very heavily, all though not in a "tribe" anymoe... all though three of my former tribe member are in my PS outfit

Tribes is probably my favorite PC game of all-time. My T1 experience was very similar to Cyric's, and it came very close stopping me from being accepted to college(too much skipping in my senior year ).

Tribes 2 is just not good. I spent about 3-4 days playing it when it first came out.

Tribes is fine you guys just liked T1 too much so when it changed it wasn't the same.

It's like UT, i loved UT but i loath UT2k3, it feels like UT quakified and that's bad. (quake = good, UT = good, both at same time = bad)

aye UT was very cool and quake III arena is cool but U2K3 blows goats. That and while I am good at UT and quake III I suck at U2K3.

Now i still could own in the demo but it just was very boring, far from the feeling i got when playing UT or Quake.

Oh the single player U2K3 was pretty easy for the part I played, and I could get some frags online, but Its just jumping and holding down the fire key mosta the time it seems.
