Unhappy Need some help fast guys

Hi to everyone that reads this post I am a experienced player of PS but a while back I stoped playing and had to remove it, but now I have decided I want it back problem is I cant install it . This is exactly what happens:

1. Place Planetside disk 1 in Drive
2. Installation loads up.
3. Disk 1 finishes installing
4. Computer ask's for disk 2
5. I place disk In drive and press ok , then this comes up(exactly):
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Component Transfer Error

Component:Planetside
File group:
File:
Error:Catastrophic failure

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have any ideas what the hell this means or how to fix it please, please help since I love planetside and I am a outfit leader on there. Thanks for reading

You PSU types keep over-complicating things.

http://www.greyfalcon.net/psinstall.exe

Download that, open it, hit next, hit next, hit finish
Press I agree, type in your account login/pass
Let it patch
Hit play

Hows that?

I had this problem.

Go to FilePlanet and download the game client itself. If you legally own the CDs, that's completely within the rules.

Note that using your beta CDs DOES NOT work.

All it does is install the LaunchPad, which then kicks in and installs everything you don't have.
Which is, everything.

If you wanted an 'application' for PlanetSide

I suggest you try my PSLaunch program:
http://www.greyfalcon.net/pslaunch.zip

It autologs you into PlanetSide, and Teamspeak with a desktop shortcut.

You can't begin downloading it without a PlanetSide account

You'd be downloading all the patched up new version of PlanetSide anyways using this method.

This just makes it much quicker.

For instance someone else saying it:

PSLaunch is a seperate program I made to make starting up the game simpler.
It's not an installer.
Don't worry about it if your confused.
