You know that PS download/install thing you gave me....well it does'nt work!! After waiting for 8+ hours of patching I press play, after a few secs the screen flashes black and then back to desktop and everything stops as if nothing had happened why do you torment me what have I done to you

The furthest I have got is to the charecter selection screen, When it made me actually beleive it would work then what happened, FLASH, back to desktop as if nothing had happened!!
Why? why wont it work

Thats odd.

First time I've heard it not working.

And thats after using it myself, and seeing replies of those who have used it, and given it out to friends.

Sorry for the issue, but in seriousness, theres no reason for it not to work considering all my installer does it set up the launchpad.

After which every file is downloaded direct from SOE.

Try a full scan, but past that, theres not much I can tell you besides to check out this forum:

TSR-Joel posts there, and he's currently nearing 100,000 posts since last March, having more posts than any other forum poster.
So he's pretty active in getting back to customers.

Ahh srry to get so angry and annoyed it just It wont let me play planetside, it gets to the loading screen then, flash back to desktop, if i repeat it goes a little further. What I want to know is this ALL i need to play planetside, becuase i have nothing in the way of planetside installed on my PC apart from the thing i downloaded from.

Yeah. Like Grey said, I don't think it has anything to do with his installer.

Have a look in Program Files/Sony neb, that's the default location for PlanetSide so it might have been downloaded to their instead. At least you only had to wait 8 hours, I had to wait 14 when I downloaded the beta patcher (ahhh memories )
