I know it looks different, but what is changed with the power and reload time, if anything?

Power down, clip size up, ROF up, COF is apparently pretty bad.

FYI its availlible in the shooting range for all to play with...

sucks IMO, youll get 10x more kills with the good ol bolt driver, takes some 5 or 6 shots to kill a rexo, and in the time it takes for the rets to close back to a 'definite' shot you could have reloaded your Bolt driver /shrug

might be nice for finishing off previously injured targets but I don't see our snipers picking up any extra kills with it

I have nerver thought of PS sniping as valuable, I see someone killed by a sniper maybe three times a week. I was going to spend my last cert pts on it, but I'd rather have rexo or HA.

I dunno. I was a hardcore sniper for a few months a while back, but I probably would have had a bigger impact on the battlefield playing regular infantry. It's fun and all, lot's of skill required, but most snipers would have better success as a HA grunt (and don't say "well if you're a good enough sniper...", because in that case you're probably a good shot with MA or able to depress the trigger and run forward well enough to use HA).

I had sniping for a few weeks / months in my lower BR's to level up, you get a shitload of kills in the right fights, but alot like Special Assault, it's a very situational cert.

But lets not digress, we have any 2 year vets who have busted this thing out yet?

I noticed while using it is seems that when reticule is bloomed out decent enough, almost all of the shots go up and to the right side rarely going to the left. kinda weird but I sure will like an additional weapon to play with without spending extra certs.

You can try it in the shooting range. The two-year merit isn't till the 19th of May.

I didn't say how valuable

I don't normally measure success by kill rate anyway, especially not in the case of sniping.

I already tested this...

6 hits for a rexo
5 for Agile
4 for PJ's (all at full health)

The COF is really bad.
