Need your help. (Friend in trouble)

I really don't know what to do... see, I have this friend called Jessica whom I go out to bars with and such.

Well, she has this big ass problem with one of her ex's and she keeps cutting her arms... says the pain goes away when she does that. I've tried talking to her and listening to her but that didn't work... I've tried bitching at her and that doesn't work either.

Honestly I don't know what to do and it worries me... she hasnt been with that guy in over 7 months and she still thinks about him...

It's not like I can send her to a shrink or call the cops on her... I can't really talk to anybody around me either or else they'll freak out and probably annoy her...

Tell her that it's serious and dont be a pussy about it.

It's needs to be a "You are not being rational and you are becoming a danger to yourself, you need to get help now, and I want to help you get there."

And if 1 on 1 doesn't work enlist friends to help.

I don't know laws about this, but you may or may not be able to force her into getting help some way. It's not going to be preaty but if you can't get her to go on he own will and the option's avalible, you should see what options exist.

To be perfectly honest the best way to get a girl to stop that crap is become her main squeeze. When they finally get strong enough that they wont do it anymore the relationship will break up. I used to have a girl friend who started dating me just because I kept her from doing that crap.

But I dont know the specifics of this case so it probably ISNT the best way like I said. Worked for me and I got the perks of a hot girl friend for a few months.

Are you kidding me? I know 2 girls who cut. One is suicidal. Christ, you want bad, I could spend a week spouting the problems of all the girls I'm friends with. Its one of the major reasons I'm in a long distance relationship. All the chicks I know who live around me are fucking crazy.
