Prepare to be assimilated. Remember that not every soldier we have would be a Spartan.

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

The borg would win.
Simple: 1. Every fallen soldier on the human side would make a new soldier for the borg. 2. Borgs would not be able to adapt to the whole ballistic thing, but the collective would find ways to battle the opponent more effectivly making their tactics obsolete. 3. Laser vs. bullets. Laser wins. 4. Borgs drones can be re-animated if they haven't been dead for more then 72 hours. The process takes about 30 minutes at most and is capable of finishing itself if the process is engaged. 5. The nano-bots inside the borg's bloodstream permit it to adapt and heal itself. 6. The spartan comes in limited number... 7. Master-chief is over-rated and the covenant are pussies. Explains why he beat them so easily. 9. CUBES!!! SPHERES!!! PYRAMIDS!!! They would scare the shit out of anyone!!! It's a geometrical attack!

Second covenant aren't pussies when you play Legendary and I beat that on both games. Third plain shapes suck, the human ships are perfect with their angular edges.

Hmmmm Hawk...
Borgs don't need corpses to create new borgs. They only need a body, alive or dead. The process is fast, hella fast, within 30 minutes to an hour the target is usually assimilated and ready to receive implants. Most borgs have meelee weapons who shoot the said assimilant within the targets blood-stream. Kind of hard to resist that now isn't it? Also, as stated before their great adaptability makes them quasi-indestructable. Imagine this: First encounter. Borgs make an advance on the human forces, the human forces fire using pattern omega-alpha. The data harvested by the drones during the fight is transmitted to the collective making the information available to all drones. The humans are eventually pushed back after a certain number of their troops are killed/assimilated, the knowledge of every assimilated troop is transmitted to the entire collective. Making every tactic known to the said soldier useless. Now repeat that 100 times or so and the entire arsenal of the human force is useless... oh sure... you'll kill a couple of drones here and there whom in turn will be revived. However your soldiers will not. Let's look at it this way. A new soldier takes 18 years to grow, 14 if you push the political correctness. A new borg drone takes about a day with every implant. So on top of their superior numbers, they have superior reproduction. Now that's not the only thing too! You didn't take into account the mirriad of spiecies and technologies that the borg have taken over. In fact what you see in the movies and shows is a fraction of what they can actually do. You have other types of drones, other species (other then the standard human drone) and other tech. So let's see... Bigger population due to massive assimilation of other worlds (the covenant would also be assimilated). Better technology due to massive assimilation of other worlds. Better reproductive and reviving capabilities. Better adaptability. Better resistances (due to nano-bots). Transporter technology (that the halo humans don't have). Warp technology. The list goes on. The only advantage the humans have... ballistic weapons, but even that can be fixed... (my god I'm a nerd...)
