Bored and in dire need of a new game.

I've been in and out of games I know already... played neverwinter nights for the past few weeks...

Any suggestions for a mid-range PC? (1.7ghz, geforce fx 5500, 512 ram) I'm mainly looking for a good RPG... but to be honest anything will do at this point.

I'd say EVE but I don't think you have the patience for it.

Go get Oblivion, it runs ok on mid range comps if you turn down the effects a bit.

Otherwise break out an old game like Baldurs Gate II, they're still hella fun.

As far as EVE goes... you're right! Plus, I'm flat broke! As for Baldur's gate... I might... I do have it on my system after all.

My bro dug up Baldurs Gate II last night, made a Cavalier at about 3 am and started playing... when I got up at noon he was still playing.

BF2 is great but if you cant run Oblivion I doubt you can run BF2. I might suggest......call of duty multiplayer?

Play though Half Life 2 again, or buy it if you haven't

It'll work on your comp.

Though I would not call that mid-range at all anymore :/

Yeah, I have Half-life 2. Not that bad on my computer.

I've started playing Baldur's Gate 2 again. Gonna have to get used again to the old graphics.

Graphics may be old, but the spell effects still look pretty cool, and the storyline is fuckin' awesome. I really should get Throne of Baal some time.

The graphics and the UI bother me the most to be honest. It's too clunky... I haven't even made it out of the lab yet and I'm banging my head into the screen.

I've played NWN a bit too much and the graphics are better... the user interface is better... wich makes it so much more enjoyable.

I need to check out fileplanet and gamespot for a game I haven't played out.

Yeah I can see how if you played NWN a lot, Baldurs Gate II would seem dated and clunky. I never played it that much that it bothers me.

There reallly arent any good games to speak of at the moment. It is such a problem in fact that CDL has been playing a damn text base space game

I've been playing some CS:S here and there (I suck) and now that we are moved I think I am going to get back into eve.
