Beta CD's & Character Wipe

SmokeJumper has been on a replying rampage at the official forums today. According to him, the bulk of the beta CD's were sent today, instead of last week.

Some got sent out last week. The bulk got sent out today (through a miscommunication error). We apologize for the delay to the bulk of you...but those that get their CDs today...welcome to the test! To the rest of you, you should have them no later than the end of the week.

He also responded to a post about when the beta character wipe would be.

We changed the delivery date for our "megapatch" (there's a big one coming with many changes in it) from Monday to Thursday of this week. Therefore, we're going to hold off on the player wipe until that time so that a) griefing system is fixed and b) the host of other changes we've made is reflected in the build so players can make wise character choices.
