Anyone who has a
fileplanet subscription can now download Planetside for free! Included with the download is a 7 Day Trial key. Here's a quote from Fileplanet:

To reactivate your game, you must purchase a full retail version of PlanetSide to obtain a new activation account key.
Notice the last sentence of the quote. "To reactivate your game, you must purchase a full retail version of Planetside to obtain a new activation account key." Looks like it's not free afterall. :) You can find the link to the download page
