Sporkfire reported on the Official Forums that the SOE QA team has invited folks to join them on the test server.
QA has asked me to let you know that they will be holding a Playtest session to day at 4:15 P.M. Pacific on the continent of Cyssor.
The objective will be the Gunuku Dropship Center. Testers will be holding home bases for each Empire on the continent.

One of the main test priorities behind this playtest is to root out causes for the spawn tube door bug. If you encounter this bug while playing on Public Test, please contact your empire's QA Rep via /tell.

This started almost 45m ago, but I suspect it is still going on. Drop by the test server and help exterminate those pesky bugs :D
