Ummmmm, I don't know how your school is, but my teachers rarely give homework. Only when their schedule is pressed for time do they give out homework. I do agree tho, school should take place in the classroom and only occasionaly in the home.

I rarely get homework at school that I have to take home. We generally get enough time to do it in class. Except for adv. algebra, we get homework daily.

Hell, I dont bring a computer home from work and repair it there everynight. Why should i bring my schoolwork home.

Nah, there's a ton of extra classes that could be eliminated from school curriculums. I had to take a lot of electives that spent the whole year going nowhere (for example, my school requires students to take a public speaking class to graduate). The only classes most people need are native language, math, science, history, and a foreign language. I like shop class as much as the next guy, but if I could have doubled up on history and english to graduate earlier, I would have. Much more efficient use of time.

Not to mention that 90% of real jobs don't give homework. Doctors don't take pregnant women home to deliver their children. Maybe a lawyer might read a law book at home or something, but that's the only example I can really think of.

I hate homework so much, it does nothing but lower my grades. I ace the tests then lose credit for the homework so I end up with straight 3.5s...stupid lazyness.

Only homework I did: english papers, programing, and math. All the rest was stupid. Most of the programming was stupid easy stuff to.

I don't mind homework it doesn't take me too long but... I think homework should be baned in Spanish

OMFG, spanish is the only fun homework there is. My spanish class is having show and tell tomorrow (I'm not kidding). We have to talk about any object from our house for three minutes, in spanish. Taking a foreign language class is like third grade all over, except in a different language.
