Alright..
So I'm definitely going to try out the PlanetSide as soon as they've dealt with all their issues. Anyhow, there's still one question beating in my head, which is as follows: About those.. Green dudes (vague). I've seen some trailers, I don't know how many years/months ago, about a new force, some kind of secret society in-game. I hope this is enough info, else just give a tell so I can get my facts straight, but what are these and how does it all work?

What I'm about to tell you is highly classified and may get me court-martialed. They are the secretive Black Ops. Not much is known about them except they seem to be soldiers from all 3 of the empires specially chosen to cause mayhem in the ongoing war. They are extremely powerful with more armor and stamina than several soldiers put together, and they seem to be able to use any weapon they choose.
Thankfully, they have not been seen on the battlefield in quite some time, but they may still be out there...somewhere. Last edited by Raymac; 2011-05-09 at 12:56 PM. |

They're black ops, they're players turned BO by a GM, unfortunately the GM's often make way to many of them. They each have 1000HP, 500 stamina, can use any vehicle and weapon, including ES weapons. The only disadvantage they have is that painfields do 200 damage per tick and have no implants.
It'd be fine if they kept it to a squad or less and on fights involving 3 ways. But the last time they did a BO event it was BO vs. TR. There were 30+ BO against about 30 TR. A single BO is worth 10 regular players in terms of health. So... you do the math. |

Ouch..
Alright, I see. So they are overpowered beasts. Sounds tempting. Glad that they're rare though, wouldn't want to encounter one or two of those.. O.o Anyhow, thanks a lot for telling me this, couldn't clear the blur without some information from players! =D
