I've only seen ONE thread with this topic mentioned. Although Culkid is being a jackass, I'll just stay on topic. I strongly feel that the galazy should go down and crash if the driver is killed. I wouldn't be shooting pilots in galaxies if it is just gonna land and a full squad of people come pouring out. I think it would be more exciting too, to jump out of a galaxy just before it plummets into the Earth. Sweet...
