Nope. There is no area specific damage for weapons.

yeah umm the devs need to want to do it before they will. If they aren't putting them in now I doubt they will change something like that later on.

It�s not a mistake or and over site, it�s a deliberate design feature of the game.

It�s to stop people standing at the top of a watch tower with a Mini gun and spraying a crowd of guys in the distance.

Spray + Pray = Lucky headshots

No one likes being capped by some "jackhole" 6 miles away with a lucky headshot
(Think: large Counterstrike maps and a newbie with a Para, the heavy machine gun)

I personaly hate it because there is now no way to get a one hit kill against some higher armored guys(which pisses the hell ouatt me since I'm a sniper).. I just ant to be able to get infantry with one shot.. MAXs and peoepl in closed vehicles I can understand.. but open infantry I should be able to one hit kill with a bolt driver.. even if I need to hit their rihg tmiddle finger.. i need atleats one way...

By now i belive that ur question was answered. No there is no headshot, no area specific damage, not even in Vechs. I think that they should add area spec damage for vechs at least. Shoot the engine and the shit should go down if its a plane. It should stall if its a buggy, tanks, hmmmm... hard to hit the engine but the turrents should be able to get messed up. Just an opinion.

I like the idea.. just hate that u can't snipe as well as in most games.. even with skill.

Jk2 (Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast) is some of the best sniping you can find. I said some. I know there's other nice sniping capibilties in other games.
But JK2 doesn't have area damage, and I like it. Of course they have personal shields in that game .

Snipers are always pumped in FPS games, I'm glad they're finally getting the 'ole nerf bat to the brain that they deserve.

Standard armor goes down in one Bolt Driver shot, they said that somewhere...so aim for the naked people.
