PS2 Papercraft

Seeing as we don't have any PS2 merchandise yet, I propose someone gets cracking on PS2 papercraft models like this:



I'd would make them, but I lack a substantial amount of artistic ability.

I think I'd suggest a Vanguard be made first.

Anyway, those papercraft require 3d Models to create them. Basically, you create a low ass poly mesh, and a tool helps you to arrange the stuff to make you able to print it out and build it yourself. Had that stuff for Jumpgate back in the day, for the old ships (as you could rip them out of the old client).

Its propably quite hard to get those files out of the PS2 client (once we got our hands on it), and even then, who knows what they have done to them. Means its quite possible that you simply cannot get the data you need. So, would need to pretty much recreate the vehicles/guns/whatever you want to make out of paper. Thats quite some work, but possible. I add it to my project list.

Yeah um. You're making it way harder than it has to be, there, basti. Most papercraft figures are a couple of rectangles with maybe some fiddly bits sticking out of tabs.

Do you want nice, good looking papercraft that resemble the shape, or just something with a generic color on it that loosley resembles something?
I make quality art mate, nothing else.
