Empire-specific weapons buyable in the store?

After doing a quick search of the forum I didn't find any info on this, but was it stated anywhere if empire-specific weapons will be buyable in the store?

This screen shows that it was the case in the GDC demo and tbqh I really dig that idea.
Even if it was Stationcash only, I'd still buy the shit outta some of the guns.

If anyone else has anymore info on this that I somehow missed, then please share it.

If your stating that you are a TR player trying to buy VS weapons then no. You cannot buy their weapons. What you saw in the video where place holders not actual other factions weapons that you could buy.

But do you know for certain, because the screenshot i posted clearly shows empire-specific weapons like the pulsar or the cycler as buyable.
There was no placeholder grafic or text on those, while there was on some others like the "NC Chaingun".

Yep, too lazy to find a quote, but Higby himself said that there will DEFINITELY not be any purchasing of opposing empire anything.
