I hope they are still on most if not all of the bases. Otherwise some of the battles are going to go quick. I don't know why they wouldn't have the bases better sealed off... The idea of the enemy being able to waltz right in is kind of meh imo.

I don't think we're going to have courtyards in the fashion they were in the original Planetside.
For some reason I'm leaning towards having different 'wings' or something. As if the Bio Labs or other Facilities were divided by two lines to make four main sections although not so open and more filled in with different things. But that's pure speculation and I have no idea why I feel that way. The team is shooting for more dynamic game play so I wouldn't bet on foreseeing cookie cutter areas often. |

I tweeted higby about it a while back ,telling him I thought fully walled bases were much cooler.
His response was "varity is cool too!". So maybe some bases will be fully walled and some not? @ elment that base design is a lot cooler than what we have now. Now the bases are like 50% walled... makes no sense. Last edited by Bags; 2012-04-18 at 10:05 PM. |

But I also like having many other different looking bases also.. Just hope there easy to defend. Don't want the bad guy's to just walk right on in and spawn camp! |

Imagine if there was an intricate basement under that base not unlike what we have in PS1. Unfortunately I don't recall hearing much about them doing that, wanting to get away from choke points and such. I think as long as you have multiple corridors to attack from it'd be fine. I don't mind choke points though.
