Does anyone remember this?

Does anyone remember an old mmorpg in development where items where bought with real money and you could win real money in quests and stuff? I think it was called project empathy or somethin like that. It was in a pc gamer maybe 1 or 2 years ago which is where i first saw planetside. Anyone have any idea what im talking about?

Oh it actually saw release!? I dont know about u guys but i think its a terrible idea. I really could not afford to loose money in a game. I cant imagine many of us people here could afford to drop a few hundred bux when you fail a bunch of missions or somethin.

It is called Project Entropia.

It actually still exists, and people do play it. It even went gold a little over a month ago.
