Gameplay: UI Sidegrades

The standard user Interface for PlanetSide 2 has a lot of great features, yet there are a few things that some folks may want to adjust. Anything from color scheme, layout, placement of information, additional viewports, etc. Below are a list of sidegrades / upgrades that could go into PS2:

Color Schemes - Just allowing the player to change up the color schemes would be great. This is especially key for color-deficient players. It wouldn't affect gameplay in any way other than enhancing the user's gameplay experience.

Additional Viewport - For vehicular operations, controlling fly-by-wire gear, or just about everything else, allow the player access to an additional viewport. This is normally a forward-facing picture-in-picture camera that comes up whenever primary visibility is being used for something else. Additionally, gunners would be able to have a viewport for their pilot's view, and the pilot can select the gunner or passenger whose perspective will be shown in the viewport.

Additional Minimap - Some folks may want a second minimap, to have a better bearing of their location relative to other stuff in thea rea, as well as what is immediately around them.

DOOM - When people are bored, let people bring up original DOOM to play in a viewport. Or maybe an old-school SOE game. I dunno. This would be great for people waiting on server queues though.

I think you are completely insane, and I support this idea.

Color schemes seems easy and fun to add in, I like it.

Adding in an addiction camera would be nice, like a rear camera for pilot watching out for enemies or vehicles that don't wanna run over allies, good idea.

More minimaps wouldn't be bad.

A little game in a game... that would be awesome if they created a PS themed 8 bit game or so to play in the game on long treks in vehicles or waiting for the enemy. Imagine a guy playing on a little PS gamepad system and getting stabbed or sniped for not playing active sentry. That has GOT to be a rather cool idea. LOVE IT!

Good Ideas. Movable HUD Elements should every MMO game have.
I really like the second Camera thingy and Color isn`t so bad too for our colorblind friends.
