That's where my mind went. SOE Live starts on that date and you'll not the distinct lack of any mention about that event in the screenshot. So, that could very well mean it's also the same day they will announce something big!

so possible open beta on the 18th of october? I didn't think about that, but that fits as well. Open beta announcement opening night of SOE live with a live announcement release that weekend?

It's too far in the future to even give a reasoned guess at what it could possibly be. But it's nice to think it could be just that

If I've learned anything in my two months on this forum, it is that dates and timelines mean nothing to SOE. So I wouldn't bet on anything of importance happening at all.

Its the beginning of the Chinese Closed Beta, or something other chinese specific.

It is not Open beta and not release. Closed beta ends when its ready, you all should know that very well, as the Tech test is still running and its end got delayed because its not ready yet.

They can't even figure out their closed beta date. Why on Earth would they know their Open Beta date or Release date by now, and even then, why release it to only the Chinese?
