War Coverage

Anyone else find it difficult to stop watching? I find myself watching it all the time, staying up far later than i should to watch it, etc.

Anyone else have this problem

Yep, I'm watching 3 news channels, have 3 websites up, and have the radio on.

I'd like to get everyone's imput on the live news coverage of the war and how it makes you feel|what you think of it.

Oh please or please let Saddam to be dead or in critical condition! PLEASE!!! HOW SWEET would it be......

"um yea...We got em with the first missle"

Yea I dont have cable so I just listen to the radio and surf the web. But I woke up a few hours ago feeling very strange, like I was all jacked up on drugs and sick to my stomach, I could barely stand upright... Its faded though, thank god.

I hope one of his officers just shoots him though.

My buddies and I sit araound pointing out different vehicles and talking about them.

*artillery tank drives passed screen*

Mtx: That's a Paladin! You see how it extends a bit on the rear of the turret? That identifies that it is computerized and all you have to do is feed it a fire grid and it'll aim itself.

Buddy: That's an Abram! blah blah blah

Hey.. it's better than Jerry Springer.

NICE! That was really nice of you to do that. SPecially me I live in the mountains and cannot get a single clear tv station up here, I am watching....Snow with voices...... But TV sucks anyways so thats why I dont use it. Waste of the mind, besides, PSU is my show! (*cries* You guys ROCK!)

For that, you get a promotion........Where's my 2nd in command....He'll take care of this!

"HAMMA!!!!!!!!!!!!" screams the Admiral.

"Yes, Admiral! Rev" answers Chief Petty Officer Hamma.

"Drop Down.....Gimmah 20 FIY Pushup Now!" screams Admiral Red right into the ear of the young Petty Officer.

*afterwards the Petty Officer rises and fixes his uniform to make sure the G spot or the gag line is straight*

Really though that was cool. or whatever it is is correct*

"Give this boy a promotion Sailor!!! NOW!!!!" Screams the Admiral

"YES ADMIRAL!" -Petty Officer

"What is your Job here Sailor!?" -me

"TO DO WHATEVER YOU TELL ME DRILL SGT!"

"WHY DID YOU PUT THAT RIFLE BACK TOGETHER SO FAST HAMMA GUMP?!"

"Because you told me to Drill Sgt!!"

"GOD DAMN YOU MUST HAVE AN IQ OF ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY! IF WE DIDNT NEED SOMEONE TO RUN THE PSU DISH WASHING SECTION OF THE GALLEY, I'd RECCOMEND YOU FOR OTC!!!!!"

Yea cheasy but I am just trying to keep myself busy.

Nice job Enkidu.

I spend most of my day watching war coverage, waking up early to see latest news etc...

I did the same thing during Desert Storm and I was only about 10 years old.

I'm not watching it that much, i check in every hour or so but it's mostly the same thing over and over again.

-Shots of baghdad-

-Shots of baghdad being bombed-

-Discussion by boring people about baghdad being bombed-

-Repeat-

I'd like to see the "govt and commercial websites defaced" though, what exactly has been "defaced" and what's that mean?

Enkidu-

Thanks lot man. I'm listeninging to the coverage on a talk radio station at work, but don't have access to a television here. I really wanted to SEE the Shock and Awe campaign.

Did that reporter in the hotel finally head down to the bunker?
