Bring back PS1 free to play.

I would resub to PS1 but it was quiet enough before the extremely long free days some of us got ran out and as much as i WANT to sub, paying $14.99 to risk going ingame and its now an absolute extreme ghost town just makes it pointless. Bring back F2P !

Infact does anyone know if you can see PS1 server pops online anywhere?

I am currently subscribed and in the past week or so it's gone downhill.
Majority of players are chinese, perhaps they have their own communications but CCs are routinely left unguarded during hot base caps and often vast forces sit farming a handful of enemies instead of taking bases.

It's still possible to have fun, but it reminds me of the dying days of Werner before the final server merge. The free time and hype when PS2 was announced had the servers rammed and pumping but it's over now.

I thought PS1 was confirmed for F2P after PS2's release...

Yeah, though you may wonder how many cheats prefer to mess up PS1 over PS2... Seeing as the goal is mass harassment and e-peen gathering...

Being part of a PS2 sub is IMO the best of both worlds. Hell, it shouldn't have it's own steep subscription fee anymore really. But at least something. Packaging it with a PS2 sub is like a collectors edition for a game series. Pretty normal thing to do, not?
