Snipe question.

OK im a proud TR soldier, and ive to say that sdefault sniper suck balls.

I wanna ask theres any TR sniper capable of hit kill ppl? I mean played nc a while and hell they have a 1 hit 1 kill wonder. I want something similar or equal to the nc sniper.

Becouse 2 heads and a body shot to kill a heavy suck. SOrry for my very bad english

First of all ... i havent played TR since beta ended, probably never will again given i am dedicated to VS :P

But must say, the default weapons can be changed.
TR must have a bolt action rifle available on market just like NC must have a semiauto rifle in their own market.

I'm pretty sure all empires have a single shot sniper rifle that is unlock-able. Go into the store, find one that's like the bolt driver, click unlock, and than test drive it for 30 minutes.

Server is down so I can't make sure it was the right name, but the Something-42 Rifle that is in the starter pack kills with one shot to the head, two to the body.

I'm pretty sure the Bolt Driver also needs a headshot for 1-shots..

You can only put a 4x Scope on that Rifle, but I'm also pretty sure that's unintended and will be fixed.. however, even with the x4, I'm able to snipe across large differences with it.

Haven't tried the others and probably won't for a long time since I'm more of a heavy guy

The Sr-7 is a bolt action rifle. I got it with alpha squad. I use it when i snipe. Headshots are one hit kills.

yea, frankly all the NC got from their alpha squad second sniper is a almost identical weapon that supposedly has a faster bullet

I believe that is correct.
I tried it, feels just like the Bolt Driver, but you don't have to lead as much.

I will most likely get burned at the stake for this, but I dont believe the defult of the VS or TRs is bad, If you use them in the right situations....I have been killed many times by people using a semi auto and if you use it at medium range sniping its one of the best things to use. At long range you will most likely use a bolt action, but the semi auto is bad at all in the right places.

nothing wrong with the TR default sniper rifle,i owned with that thing in beta,and im now using the NC equivalent,which is the guass sniper rifle,and im owning with that thing

I like it personally,a lot easier to kill mutliple targets quickly. Gives more room for misses.. Over all a great rifle if you get used to it.

This right here. I always get butthurt when I run up on a cloaker, miss a shot, and they can pump 4 into me before I'm reloaded. I was happy to hear NC could get semi-auto rifles.
