FPS FIX!!

Goto setting and change hud to center, try that

and for you FPS laggers try this

this helped me

1.Browse to C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\PlanetSide 2 Beta
2.Open UserOptions Configuration file using a word editing program such as "Notepad"
3.Scroll down to [Rendering], change figures for RenderDistance from the default "9999″ to "1000″
{Note: the rest of the settings under Rendering and Changeable within the game.}
{You must not be in the game while making this change. If you are in the game, the settings will be set back to default when you exit}

If this change has helped you and you want it to be a little bit better, you can also try setting the RenderDistance to "800"

Even thou is says Beta it still works on full release

I had 30-40fps then I did the above and now driven a Sundy 80-100fps big battle fight 40-70fps

What I understand, this is allowed.

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. All it is doing is gimping your overall view distance, you aren't gaining any advantage except for a potentially higher framerate.

I read on the o-boards that editing the .ini IS allowed, but can't look it up now because it's blocked at work. It was in a thread addressing third party programs like SweetFX (which are bannable).
